Base building — Sakhal PvE
Nobody is blowing your door. Build for warmth, storage and the walk home — then keep the flag up.
PvE only
Chernarus bases live and die on the weekend raid window. Use the Chernarus base guide for that. Do not copy 85 m hatch spacing onto Sakhal.
Start compact, then make it liveable
A finished warm room still beats a huge frozen footprint. On Sakhal you optimise for comfort and workflow: sorted storage, a crafting corner, vehicle parking, a greenhouse. Long-term projects — bunker rooms, rare furniture — are what keep a PvE base alive.
No raid window to plan around
Player raiding is off. Locked MMG is safe from other survivors. The flag is still upkeep (every 3 days, lasts 20) — that is the claim, not a “Thursday raid prep” ritual. There is no Friday 21:00 on this server.
Locks, flags and upkeep
- Code locks first — an unlocked door is not a base, it is a lobby.
- Keep your flag raised: it protects your buildables and marks territory. Raise at least every 3 days (lasts up to 20 days).
- Check upkeep after every long absence; a dropped flag fails quietly.
- The bunker/hatch 180 m keep-away prevents stacking two protected bases into one.
- Placed walls do not decay on their own — keep the flag raised.
The numbers that change how you build
Plotpole & flags
- Plotpole: 70 m open · 30 m inside PvE safezones.
- Flag spacing: 150 m from any other flag.
- Flags per group: 2.
- Raise every 3 days · lasts 20 days.
Bunkers
- Surface hatches 200 m apart.
- Hatch keep-away from flag: 180 m (not 85).
- Hatch hack: no.
Locks
- CodeLocks still go on gates — for organisation, not a raid timer.
- Raid Alert is optional (Discord ping). Nobody is coming through the door.
