Getting Started on Chernarus PvP — the Dbloods guide

Welcome to Dbloods Chernarus, our hardcore full-PvP EU server. You start with 100,000 in your pocket, but the world is unforgiving: when you die, everything you carry stays on your body. Here is everything you need for your first hours.

1. Joining the server

✅ Method 1 (recommended) — Official DayZ Launcher (Steam)

1. Launch DayZ from your Steam library → the official launcher opens.
2. Go to Servers → Community and type the name: "Dbloods EU|100K Start|PVP|KeyCard|SpawnBase|KOTH|Airdrop" (IP 149.202.66.18:3002).
3. Click the server → "Setup DLCs and mods and join" → the mods (DbloodsPack, ToxicZone…) install automatically.
4. Join → you're in!

🛠️ Method 2 (if you run into trouble) — DZSA Launcher

1. Install DZSA Launcher: dayzsalauncher.com
2. Search for the server → Download Mods → Play.

2. Your first minutes

• Spawn Select: on connection, a menu lets you choose your spawn point on the map — start near your friends or your target area.
• Open the map with the "," key and create your group: 3 players by default, expandable to 6. Every group can place a flag with a 70 m protection radius.
• 🎁 Starter Kit: claim your starting kit through our Discord bot (command in the dedicated channel).
• Your 100K lets you gear up fast at the traders — but spend wisely: everything is lost on death.

3. The safezone & extraction

The safezone is your safe haven: traders, ATM, zero combat. This is where you gear up and plan your runs. To get there, use one of the extraction points (elevators) scattered across the map: they teleport you straight to the safezone with your loot secured.

To head back out, use the extraction panel: you pick your exit point on the map and get teleported near the chosen spot (within a radius, never pixel-perfect — to prevent camping). Pick your extract based on your current target: military loot, an event, or back near your base.

4. A 100% PvP world

• PvP is active everywhere — stay alert at all times.
• Realistic survival: hunger, thirst, cold, sickness.
• ⚡ UNLIMITED stamina: here we never stop — run as much as you want, only weight slows you down.
• Raiding is allowed: your base must be built to withstand it.
• Every action matters: dying means losing everything you carry. Take no unnecessary risks until you're settled.

5. Building your base: surface or underground

Two styles on Dbloods:

• Surface base (BaseBuildingPlus / BBP): walls, gates, storage, locks.
• Underground bunker (HM Bunker): a hatch in the ground opens your tunnel network — discreet and solid.

⚠️ FAIR-PLAY RULE (important): you can NOT place your hatch right next to your flag/BBP base. The server enforces an 85 m keep-away between the two (otherwise placement is blocked and your shovel refunded). Goal: no un-raidable "2 bases in 1". Read the #Rules channel and the underground tutorial before you dig.

6. Defending & raiding

• 🚨 Raid Alert: assemble an alert tower — place the Base, attach the Sender (with pliers), then insert a Battery. If your base is attacked (50 m radius), you get an in-game alert + a Discord DM warning you your base is being raided, + a siren on site. Watch your battery level.
• 🔓 Raiding happens in 2 steps:

1. The hatch (bunker entrance) → hacking tablet, and only during the WEEKEND raid window (Friday evening through Sunday — the rest of the week, raids are closed).
2. Inside → classic BBP raiding with the breaching charge (~20 s to plant, ~3 min to blow).

A well-designed base follows the rule but stays takeable — that's the Dbloods balance.

7. The infected: from weakest to strongest

They're not all equal — their loot scales with how dangerous they are:

1. Civilian infected (citizens, farmers, villagers) — the weakest, basic loot.
2. Military infected (soldiers, patrols) — tougher, military loot.
3. Toxic infected (toxic zones & hordes) — tougher still, often in packs.
4. 🩸 Undead — massive HP, the hardest to kill… but the best loot you'll pull off any infected: expect DNA Keycards, chest keys, HM tickets, ammo boxes, sometimes cannabis or a blade… and other surprises to discover yourself. 😉

8. Endgame loot: Tisy & events

The most dangerous AND most rewarding area of Chernarus is Tisy (north-west).

• ☢️ Full NBC suit REQUIRED (gas mask + filter + suit + gloves) — without it you take toxic damage and die fast.
• 🎯 The highest loot tier (Tier 4): heavy snipers (Barrett M82 .50, M200), explosives (M79, 40 mm), heavy SNAFU/GCGN weapons, tactical armor & gear.
• 🧟 Guarded by toxic infected, and it's a PvP hotspot: big risk, big reward.
• 💡 Tip: gear up NBC before heading up, travel light, and plan your extraction — this is where the biggest fights happen.

💡 Top-tier loot is NOT only at Tisy: you'll also find it in some airdrops, during the Secure the Zone event, and in the DNA Keycard rooms. And the classic events run around the clock: heli crashes, the train, military convoys, police situations… Several roads lead to the big gear.

🛡️ Secure the Zone event: clear the zombie waves, then open the safe to grab the loot.

→ Aim for Tisy once you're settled and well geared: that's where the best equipment on the server is found.

9. Caches, locked chests & the Tango Island bunker

The map is full of hidden caches for those who know where to look:

• 🕵️ Hidden stashes & cabinets: concealed caches all over, holding things worth the detour — collectables, scopes/optics and other finds.
• 🔒 Locked chests: locked chests spawn across the world — you need the right key to open them. And guess who carries those keys? The Undead (among others)… It all comes full circle. 😉
• 🏝️ The Tango Island bunker: a military island hiding a loot-packed bunker — access requires a Punched Card. Find the card, find the island, open the bunker.

10. Recycler & 3D Printer — craft your own gear

At fixed spots on the map:

• ♻️ Recycler: turns your unwanted items into materials and resin. Concrete example: recycle a spare weapon or junk item → you get nails (×15), metal plates… and resin (Yellow / Blue / Green / Red depending on value). Nails + plates go straight into building your base: nothing is wasted, everything recycles.
• 🖨️ 3D Printer: loot the printer kit (spawns in industrial/farm areas), set it up, and use resin to print nearly 220 items: tools, weapon parts, optics, magazines, electronics, pouches… Spare resin? It sells at the Black Market.

⚠️ These stations sit at FIXED, exposed locations → watch out for other players! They're well-known ambush spots. Bring backup or watch your back.

11. Quality of life (QoL)

• ⚡ HoverLoot: hover over an item to pick up / drop / transfer it instantly (no more slow drag & drop).
• 🗂️ One-click sorting (SortZ): tidy your inventory or a chest in a single click.
• 🛏️ Sleeping bag: place it in your base → you respawn at home after death.
• 💬 DBMessenger (Dbloods in-house mod): an in-game messenger — text your friends and your group without leaving the game, wherever you are.
• 🛍️ Dbloods P2P (in-house mod): the player-to-player market, openable from anywhere on the map — buy and sell to other survivors without traveling.
• 📊 Items Info: all your weapon, gear and item stats at a glance, right in the inventory.

12. Skins & customization — zero pay-to-win

• 🎨 Skin system: free skin variants for everyone — customize your equipment without paying anything.
• ✨ VIP+: access to a large skin panel — hundreds of weapon and gear skins to stand out.
• 💯 Our rule is simple: NO pay-to-win. Ever. We never sell anything that gives a gameplay advantage — only skins and cosmetic items with zero in-game benefit. Your gear, you earn it by playing, like everyone else.

13. The parallel economy: crypto, weed, KOTH & the black market

The real money on Chernarus isn't only made at the regular trader:

• 👑 KOTH (King of the Hill): the ultimate PvP event — fight to control the zone and grab the rewards. The best groups clash here.
• 🖥️ Crypto farming: loot PC parts (GPU, SSD, PSU…), build your own mining rig and let the bitcoin flow. The better your rig, the more it earns.
• 🪙 The crypto trader: a special trader that accepts ONLY crypto — this is where you buy top-tier gear and weapons found nowhere else. Your mined crypto has a real destination.
• 🏴 Black Market: the underground market to offload and hunt down rare gear.
• 🌿 Weed: grow, harvest, package and sell — the green business is lucrative, but the fields and the buyers are never safe places…
• 🏧 ATM robbery: most ATMs on the map are robbable (from 5 players online). Big payout… but a public marker shows on the map during the heist: the whole server knows where you are. A crowbar speeds up the job.
• 📦 Hacked Crates: strategic crates to hack across the map for rare, exclusive loot.
• 🎁 Daily Reward: log in every day and claim your reward — loyalty pays.

14. Going further

🚁 SIBNIC helicopters (UH1D, Black Hawk, MI17, MH6…): air combat, transport, total immersion · 🔐 DNA Keycards (reinforced rooms — find them OR craft them at the printer) · 🕳️ undergrounds & military islands · 📜 immersive quests & achievements that unlock rare content · 🚗 virtual garage for your vehicles · airdrops & dynamic events.
